Our Day Training program offers a similar training experience for your dog as in our Board & Train program but with keeping your dog home with you! You experience the same benefits of Private Coaching Training, as Transfer Sessions for you with your trainer is included every other week. With Pro Day Training Programs, multiple times per week your dog will work with one of our Certified Professionals in the comfort of their own home during usual work hours. You may be home or away at work during Trainer Sessions. To help successfully transfer your dog's training to you, you must be present for the Transfer Sessions and Follow Up Sessions after the completion of the program!

Our Private Training is extremely effective but may not always be available or feasible for your situation. Board & Train programs can be a good option for busy owners who do not have the time or expertise to train their dog to have a jump start. In our Board & Train, your dog will stay overnight with us in our own cozy home on a 1.5 acre fully-fenced-in property in La Porte, Texas for the duration of their training.  You are the most important part to their continued success - Free Client Coaching Sessions included!

Dogs 6 months + must complete an Initial Consultation prior to beginning a program. Limited Availability with only two client spots per month. Text us ASAP for November - December 2025 dates. Negative fecal test required.

Starting at $2,200 for puppies ​

Work one-on-one directly with our Certified Professional Dog Trainers on your dog’s individual training goals and behavior needs. With a personalized approach, we work together at a pace that's comfortable for both you and your dog, ensuring a solid understanding of the training and behavior concepts necessary for maintained progress and troubleshooting problem areas. In-home Coaching and Behavior Consulting is available to clients in portions of Southeast Houston. For those outside of our service area, we also offer Board & Train at Sammye's Dogs in La Porte, TX.
