Terms & Conditions and Liability Waiver & Acknowledgments for Services with Sammye's Dogs LLC

Booking an appointment online does not guarantee appointment, as actual Trainer availability may differ; please confirm prior with Sammye via text message at 832.454.0306 or email to sammye@sammyesdogs.com. By booking, you agree to the following policies and terms of service:  ​  *ALL Purchases are NON-refundable.*  Terms and Conditions ​ Additional Dogs: Cost of including an additional dog for training is $30. ​ Completion of Sessions: All sessions or programs must be scheduled and completed within days listed upon purchasing packages. Failure to complete the sessions within the specified timeframe will result in the forfeiture of any remaining sessions. Additionally, any appointments classified as "no shows" or canceled with less than 48 hours notice will be considered as one used session. Location and Travel: Clients may schedule their private training sessions at Sammye's Dogs facility in Deer Park, TX 77536, at no additional cost. Alternatively, if the client prefers in-home sessions, a travel fee will apply. For distances exceeding 14 miles or 70 minutes total travel time (both ways), there is a minimum charge of $30, along with an additional fee of $1 per minute for travel time beyond 70 minutes total. Payment of the travel fee is required within 24 hours of the appointment. Failure to pay invoices within 24 hours of appointment will result in the forfeiture of all future services. Client Responsibility and Appointment Confirmation: Clients are responsible for managing their schedules. While reminders are provided as a courtesy through the sammyesdogs.com website for online bookings, they are not mandatory for Sammye’s Dogs LLC. Please ensure the availability of the trainer by confirming the appointment via text message to 832-454-0306 or email to sammye@sammyesdogs.com as client scheduling of online appointments are not guaranteed. Cancellation Policy: For private training sessions, clients are required to provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice for appointment cancellations and rescheduling. Cancellations and rescheduling must be made via email to sammye@sammyesdogs.com or text message to 832-454-0306. Please note that Sammye's Dogs LLC operates as a text/email only business, and cancellation notices via phone calls are not accepted. Failure to provide timely cancellation notice, missed appointments, or late arrivals exceeding 15 minutes past the scheduled start time will be counted as a used session.  For Board & Train Programs, cancellations or rescheduling program dates results in forfeiture of reservation fees. Late/Missed/No-Show Appointments: After a client arrives beyond 15 minutes late, misses or no-shows for an appointment, going forward, the client will be charged a fee of $3 per minute beyond the scheduled start time for all subsequent services. For example, if a client is 20 minutes late, a late fee of $15 will apply. In the event that a client wishes to proceed with an appointment despite being late, and the trainer is willing and available to conduct the session, an invoice will be generated. The invoice will include the late arrival fee and any other relevant costs. Payment for the invoice must be made within 24 hours of the appointment. Failure to pay invoices within 24 hours of appointment will result in the forfeiture of all future services. ​ Liability Waiver and Acknowledgements I acknowledge that Sammye's Dogs LLC will work directly with me and my dog, utilizing contemporary animal behavior knowledge that best suits our specific needs. I understand that the success of the program relies on a combination of skills acquired by both the dog and the owner. It is important to note that behavior is not a fixed trait, and even trained behaviors require ongoing practice to be maintained. I understand behavior can be modified, but it should be understood that the dog is never considered completely "cured" of such tendencies. Ultimately, the responsibility for the dog's behavior lies with the owner. While Sammye's Dogs LLC will exert reasonable efforts to help us achieve our goals, they cannot guarantee specific performance outcomes for either the client or the dog as a direct result of their professional animal behavior consultation and training. I acknowledge that obedience training and behavior modification activities involve inherent risks of damage or injury to both dogs and individuals. I accept full financial and moral responsibility for the actions of my dog(s) during these activities. Furthermore, I acknowledge that my dog(s) may be exposed to various environmental conditions, including but not limited to interactions with people and other animals, adverse weather conditions, and crowded areas with different types of traffic. I will make every effort to obey training advice and safety precautions as listed in writing and as explained to me verbally. I will ask for clarification when needed. I allow Sammye's Dogs LLC and Her Agents to photograph or video record my dog and/or me to be shared for education and/or advertisement. I, as the client, agree that neither I, nor my heirs, assignees, or legal representatives, will make any claims, file lawsuits, or take any actions to attack the property of Sammye's Dogs LLC, her family, acquaintances, or any other person acting on her behalf (referred to as "Her Agents"), for any injury or damage caused to or by my dog(s), regardless of how it was caused, whether through action or negligence by Sammye's Dogs LLC or Her Agents. I forever release Sammye's Dogs LLC and Her Agents from any and all liability and demands that I, as the client, my heirs, assignees, and legal representatives may have or may come to have in the future for any injury or damage caused to or by my dog(s), assuming all associated risks. I forfeit all rights to bring a suit against Sammye's Dogs LLC her Her Agents for any reason. In return, I will receive training, and upon reasonable request, Sammye’s Dogs LLC shall provide me with guidance and ongoing support throughout this contract term. Additionally, Sammye's Dogs and I, as the client, agree not to engage in any negative or untrue disparagement or discredit of each other in any form of communication or on any social media platform, including but not limited to Facebook, Yelp, Twitter, Google, and similar websites.  Sammye's Dogs LLC and I hereby agree to mediate and/or arbitrate any misunderstanding that may arise pursuant to the terms contained herein. In any action or proceeding arising out of this agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reimbursement of costs and legal fees. This contract for Training Services supersedes all other agreements, written or oral, previously made between Client and Sammye's Dogs LLC.  ​ ANY AND ALL MONIES SENT TO SAMMYE DARLING OR SAMMYE'S DOGS LLC ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.
