We are SO EXCITED that we will be holding GROUP CLASSES again lead by our Certified Trainer, Jacqueline! Our group dog training classes are an affordable way to work with certified pros, to learn how to effectively communicate with your dog, build confidence, overcome common dog behavior problems, give your dog structure, and will help keep your dog safe all in a fun, positive way. Sammye’s Dogs’ training methods are reward-based and built on understanding respect, trust and love. In this course your dog or puppy will learn how to pay attention, behave while out and about, gain better impulse control, thrive with management and enrichment, and basic obedience commands such as sit, down, stay, come, eye contact, loose leash walking manners, and more. These important skills will help enhance your lifelong partnership with your dog and result in more happy and confident dogs and handlers. What does the course cost? The cost for our seven (7) one-hour long classes lead by Certified Dog Trainers is $275. Fees are NOT refundable. What dogs can attend? Friendly, fully vaccinated dogs (must be at least 14 weeks old and be current on DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. The Canine Influenza vaccine is highly recommended). Made for dogs of all ages and breeds, and is beginner to intermediate skill level. Where is class held? On Lomax School Road, La Porte, TX, 77571 When is class held? 6:00pm for 50+ lbs 7:30 for 49- lbs *Students arriving more than 10 minutes late will be turned away. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY AND ALLOW YOUR DOG TO SETTLE IN and try to potty your dog before the class starts. What people can attend? Up to three family members (12yo+) can be involved in your dog's training class. The more consistent the household can be, the faster your dog will learn, and the better understanding and leadership for everyone. Make Up Policy? This is an open enrollment class that will repeat topics in a cycle. For example, if class topic was “Sit” on week one, after the 7 topics/weeks are completed, the “Sit” class will occur again and you are welcome to join. Students must “make up” missed classes within 2 cycles of classes. **IMPORTANT NOTE: Not every dog or owner is best suited to group dog training classes. Some dogs are easily overwhelmed in a group setting, others have issues that are better addressed at home where the behavior happens. Therefore, dogs that have a bite history, cower in fear, bark, lunge, growl, or vocalize excessively should not enroll. **
